Famous Serbian water polo player Aleksandar Šapić decided to put for auction all the medals he won during his playing career with aim to raise funds and donate for humanitarian purposes, for medical help to the most vulnerable people, especially children. On the website of Novi Beograd Humanitarian Foundation (www.budihuman.rs) Šapić decided to put 24 medals he won at World and European Championships, World League, World Cup, Olympic Games and three from European Cup club competitions and Len Cup. He announced that the prices of medals range from 3,000 to 10,000 EUR.
