Thanks to the humanitarian campaign called With Love for Brave Hearts, on June 21st in Banja Luka a Parents' House for children with malignant diseases was opened.
The house contains seven apartments for the parents and treated children, playroom, kitchen, common room, office of the association and a garden. All the collected money was on the account of the Iskra Association.
After equipping the rooms, 100,000 BAM (app. 51,131 EUR) more will be needed, said Dijana Berić, secretary of the association of parents of children that are suffering from malignant diseases who also emphasized the significance of the Parent’s House because children will have full nursing care here.
The President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, promised that the missing funds will be paid as soon as possible and that the facility will be put into operation no later than two months from now.
