An interesting activity called Children for Children was held a the Kodra e Diellit 2 Residence, in collaboration with Down Syndrome Albania Foundation. In the framework of the Down Syndrome Awareness' Month, dozens of talented children created paintings on the topic “Hope of Your Dreams”.

Markel Capo, the volunteer painter that helped the children of the center express their talents in arts and painting, says that they should have been encouraged to do arts earlier.

“Children with Down syndrome are inclined towards art and it is best to start the art therapy in the early stage so that in the end we can see the results.”

During the opening event, the director of the Foundation Emanuela Pepkola, and the Marketing Manager Fjoralba Bajrami invited the participants of the festival to contribute and purchase the ceramics with the children’s paintings on it. The stunning paintings in ceramics are all sold for children with Down syndrome.
