Administrators of the 14th Pula Hand Made Fest have for the first time organized a fundraising sale of sky lanterns. Visitors could buy the lanterns for 25 HRK (3 EUR) each and decide to which humanitarian association the money will be donated.

First option is the Naš san njihov osmijeh Association, which since 2010 promotes humanity, kindness and love for mankind. Associations have every day activities on providing humanitarian aid, legal help, and other assistance to those in need. The second is the Animal Welfare Association Ruka šapi, which doesn't have permanent asylum, so its 50 volunteers are constantly working on providing shelter for abandoned animals.

All 500 lanterns were sold, lighted and sent to the sky on Saturday, November 5th at the Pula Forum Square.
