Around one hundred patients from Kavadarci, Negotino, Demir Kapija and Rosoman will no longer have the need to travel to Skopje for gastroscopy of the upper digestive tract.

Namely, the Dräxlmaier, a Germany–based company that has a production plant in Kavadarci, donated gastroscope worth 20,000 EUR (approx. 1,230,000 MKD) to the General Hospital in Kavadarci.

The gastroscope, a medical apparatus that is of crucial importance for early diagnostics of numerous disorders of the digestive tract is already in function and regular scheduled check-ups of patients from Kavadarci and the neighboring cities are being performed on daily basis.
