Serbia’s Chamber of Commerce has granted, for the sixth time in a row, the National Award for socially responsible business to companies that have shown the greatest commitment to the principles of social responsibility. Awards were presented in three categories: large, medium and small/micro companies. The contest lasted six months, and 50 companies participated in it.
In the category of large companies among the winners are Delta Holding, Ball Packaging Europe Belgrade, Alfa Plam from Vranje, Apatinska pivara from Apatin and Delhaize Serbia.
In the category of medium-sized companies are company Rudnik and flotacija Rudnik from Rudnik, Hyatt Regency from Belgrade and JP Gradsko stambeno.
In the category of small and micro companies, the winners are Inmold plast from Požega, GSK Pharmaceutical company, Eco Fenix B Team from Subotica, Brantner Waste Economy from Novi Bečej and Slobodna zona Pirot (Free Zone Pirot).
The awards were granted by the prize judges including representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture, non-government organizations, Sustainable Development Ambassador, as well as Olivera Kovačević, Public Service editor of the Radio-Television of Serbia.
