We all want to reduce air pollution in the city we live in, but few of us undertake some action about it. We are more than thrilled to congratulate Pivara Skopje because they’re helping us to decide to use the bicycle as a primary mode of transport. Pivara Skopje will donate five bicycle parkings for the city of Skopje with a capacity for 120 bicycles.

The bicycle parking’s will be placed at five locations in the city that would be accessible to more citizens. The estimated value of this donation amounts to 1,537,500 MKD (approx. 24,878 EUR). This donation is promoting the bicycle as an alternative mode of transport in order to improve air quality, but also will influence and reduce the traffic congestion.

In addition, Pivara Skopje will donate a sports recreational area along the river Vardar. This active zone will be with a surface of 120 metres, which will be set up with modern fitness machines and other sports equipment in order to improve the habits and awareness of the citizens about the importance of sport and regular physical activity. The estimated value of this donation is 430,500 MKD (approx. 6,966 EUR).
