Tirana is the first city in Albania that has started the implementation of a program about small sports facility for all the children that attend public kindergartens.

After the reconstruction of kindergartens, the Municipality of Tirana, in cooperation with the Lorik Cana Foundation, has started implementing the project for the construction of sports infrastructures in the public kindergartens, aiming to massively enhance the participation of children and youth in sports for a more healthy life.

The Mayor of Tirana together with former captain of the Albania National Team, Lorik Cana, attended the inauguration ceremony of one of these small new sports facilities in “Xixëllonjat” Kindergarten in Tirana that was realized thanks to donations from Lorik Can Foundation. The Mayor stated that this is only the first investment which will contribute on the education of the new generation.
