dm-drogerie markt Croatia doo has on Saturday, Jun 10th organized traditional fundraising Women Race at the Jarun Park in Zagreb. The 6th edition of the event consisted of three competition races, numerous sports activities ant the concert of Pop Band Positivo. This year the record in number of contestants is broken, as 5,629 ladies participated in races on 2,700 and 6,500 meters, while 1,276 kids, age 3 – 6 years, run 300 meters in the popular Babybonus race.

The entire income from the participation fees and all collected contributions, in a total amount of 47,800 HRK (approx. 6,500 EUR), will be donated to the Europa Donna Hrvatska campaign for acquiring special equipment for breast cancer therapy. Europa Donna Hrvatska is the part of the European Breast Cancer Coalition, which is working to raise awareness of breast cancer, promote education, early detection and medical and psychosocial rehabilitation.
