Serbian association “Čepom do osmeha” (Bottle Cap for a Smile) from Novi Sad, which brings together charity and ecology, will set up a mosaic made entirely of bottle caps, at Trg slobode on September 30th, and it will cover the size of 621 square meters. That's 1.5 tons of bottle caps and 300 volunteers - enough for the Guinness World Record.

They will also have a party with a music and a children's program with animators, workshops and shows. What's their goal? To draw public attention and grow support for their campaign, which at the same time helps children with disabilities, and takes care of our environment by waste sorting and recycling.

The campaign was initiated by Vanja Petković in 2012, and until now, 18 children have received various aid - a laptop, electric wheelchairs, inhalers, therapeutic tricycles, etc. Plus, to date, more than 100 tons of bottle caps have been collected from all over the country.

The start of the program is scheduled for 10AM on Saturday and the whole project is supported by Foundation ”Novi Sad 2021” and the European Youth Capital ”Opens”. Wanna join them and volunteer for this great cause?
