Maks Velo has donated 54 of his Works of art to the National Art Gallery of Albania. Monetary value of the paintings remains unkown yet, however this is the biggest donation ever made to the institution. The artist had previously donated some of his paintings to the Insitution of Cultural Monuments. The Minister of Culture considered this act as protective of cultural heritage.
