The Mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandić presented this year’s Luka Ritz Award for humanitarian engagement to Ljubica Marinčić and Dora Cesarec, at the ceremony in the Zagreb City Hall. The Luka Ritz Award is honoring students whose work significantly contributed to the affirmation of human rights, extreme tolerance and promoting peace, freedom and equality among their peers. Ljubica Marinčić is going to Grigor Vitez Elementary School in Zagreb and was very active during collection of humanitarian aid for flood victims in Slavonija. Student of Vladimir Prelog High School Dora Cesarec organized several humanitarian campaigns in her school and already won Zagreb Volunteer Center Award for Very Important Volunteers.
