The association Naša kuća (Our House), who supports those with intellectual disabilities, presented its activities while socializing with its friends and associates on 2 July at Usce. At the event, the association's activities and projects were presented, such as Kuhinja na Točkovima (Kitchen on Wheels), a project that was created with the aim to provide employment for young people with intellectual disabilities. Young people who are engaged in this project provide daily hot meals that are delivered to the homes of elderly, sick and disabled people who are unable to prepare their own food. As part of this project, there are currently 12 young people employed who distribute up to 80 hot meals daily, and they plan to expand to 10 more people in the next couple of years.
One of the services provided by the association is a high-quality yet affordable catering service for special events. The Association prepares and sells Čoko-šljiva (Chocolate-plum), a tasty product made by their members with the finest Belgian chocolate and first-class Serbian plums from Osečina, as well as freshly squeezed juice without additives and preservatives that can be delivered to any address. The Association is engaged in the production of environmental packaging - cardboard boxes and bags of recycled paper.
Along with the presentation, the guests had the opportunity to try the delicious products of Naša kuća and had fun riding a bike specially designed for twelve people thanks to the Partibajk company.
