The Tele2 doo Company and the Reach for Change Association announced winners of the 2016 grant application contest Be the Change.
The grants are awarded to three projects that will respond to some of the biggest challenges for children in Croatia, such as health care, education, protection from violence and abuse, etc. Each project will receive 180,000 HRK (approx. 25,000 EUR), as well as tailor-made mentoring program throughout 2017.
The Otvorena medijska grupacija OMG Association from Zagreb is awarded for their project Neformalni zavod za zapošljavanje (Informal Employment Bureau), which will help young people that are leaving Homes for Children without Parental Care to obtain their first jobs.
The Logopedi bez granica (Logopedists Without Borders) Association from Zagreb is awarded for the project that should make available Logopedic services in rural parts of Croatia.
The Vjetar u leđa Association from Zagreb is awarded for their project Iskrice (Sparks), which will provide creative workshops that should improve children's scientific and productive thinking, emotional intelligence, as well as social and learning skills.
