Edin Džeko, captain of the National Football Team of Bosnia and Herzegovina and player of Roma Football Club, is awarded for being a sportsman of the year in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The financial part of the award in the amount of 15,000 BAM (approx. 7,669 EUR) Džeko will donate to the Parental Home of the Srce za djecu koja boluju od raka u BiH (Hear for Children with Cancer in FBiH) Association, Tuzla Home for Children Without Parental Care and Mostar Home for Children without Parental Care.

Džeko visited girls and boys who are staying with their parents at Parental Home in Sarajevo and wished them quick recovery.
