On Sunday, January 15, the Nikola Pašić Square in Belgrade was turned into a workshop where numerous animal friends made 30 houses for stray animals in order to protect them from the harsh weather conditions.

Members of Youth Initiative for Culture Expansion - Kulturiranje invited citizens through Social Media to join the event, and many passers-by jumped in spending their day off doing a good deed. The event participants then distributed the houses to various parts of Belgrade for their new tenants to move in.

Creating a temporary house for stray animals costs no more than 300 RSD (approx. 2.4 EUR).

We encourage you to try making one! The whole process is described here: http://bit.ly/2juuXOh.
