The donation was presented at the 1st anniversary of the concept store Jevremova 25. Funds were raised through the initiative “We Create, You Buy, We Donate” (“Mi kreiramo, vi kupujete, mi doniramo”), by selling designs made by young artists.
The initiative was run by the nonprofit Artists Anonymous Belgrade powered and fueled by Metropolitan University” and concept store Jevremova 25.
Artists Anonymous is a creative hub started at Metropolitan University, by Madlena Dašić, lecturer in digital arts. On one hand, their digital channel is an open library of socially engaged artwork, which is free to use and share. On the other hand, they also sell some of their works, in order to raise money for different projects of social importance.
Jevremova 25 is a concept store which makes for a unique meeting place of art, fashion, architecture, design and gastronomy. This interesting space in Belgrade has recently celebrated its first year of existence, and this also made an occasion to present EUR 845 (RSD 100.000) for the treatment of children which “Support Life” (“Podrži život”) helps. The works from Artists Anonymous were sold at this store.
Artists Anonymous brand was also launched in Jevremova 25 in April this year.
