The Diplomatic Winter Bazaar 2016 which is the biggest charity event of diplomatic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina took place on Saturday 3rd December 2016 in Skenderija (Sarajevo). Forty embassies with 60 stands participated offering food from all over the world, souvenirs and unusual items.

Caroline Ferguson, the spouse of the British ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina pointed out that the money that visitors spent on bazaar goes to the nonprofits that support children in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The money collected will be donated to the Christine Witcutt Daycare Center for Children with Special Needs within the Vladimir Nazor Elementary School in Sarajevo, the Down Sy i Mi Banjaluka Association that supports children with Down syndrome and their families, the Franciscan International Student Center BiH that offers scholarships and accommodation for students from all over BiH and to the Family Strenghthening Program that is, together with International SOS Children's Villages, working to improve lives of families at risk in Srebrenica and surrounding rural areas.
