Dubrovnik branch of the Croatian Association for Liver Diseases Hepatos started a fundraising campaign for purchasing Ultrasonic Device FibroScan for the Dubrovnik General Hospital. The FibroScan examination obtained a finding that corresponds to the search of a liver biopsy, so this way patients will be diagnosed much faster and with less pain.

The Rixos Group, owner of the Dubrovnik Libertas Hotel, has joined the campaign and on Sunday, October 23th organized a fundraising dinner party named Land of the Legends. Visitors had the opportunity to enjoy the five course meal and raffle for only 200 HRK, which with donations accumulated 62,000 HRK (over 8,000 EUR). Another fundraiser was held on Friday, October 28th at the Revelin Culture Club, where popular Dubrovnik music bands Atlantida, OPG and Lapadske tratinčice held a fundraising concert.
