Dragan Milošević, now a lawyer from Chicago and a former pupil of the Elementary School "Milan Mijalković" in Jagodina, donated 20 computers to the school so kids today can have better Computer Science classes.
Since 1989, Dragan has been living in the USA, and this summer, during his short journey through Serbia, he visited his former school and expressed a desire to help. Starting from this school year, Computer Science is a compulsory subject for all the students, but the school only had 10 old computers, which weren’t enough to easily organize the classes, so his help arrived at the right time. The pupils and the school director were delighted with Dragan's initiative and good will. Computer Science is now the favorite subject of many students.
Except for getting equipment to get a better Computer Science education, Dragan invested in the infrastructure that will help their future, and the children also got a nice example of giving back to the community that supported you when you were younger. His gesture shows that even a single person can make a difference in the lives of many people.
