Once they turn 18, children without parental care face all the difficulties of life, because they no longer have right to stay at institutions and foster families. What is the most important, they have no family to turn to.

From the age of 7, now 22-year-old Dragan Kostić, has been living in Homes for Children without Parental Care and foster families. For two years, he has been working on various jobs, but they don't bring him enough income even for food.

"When I earn for bread, I buy bread, put some jam on it. I eat what I have. When I don't have anything, well, I don't eat anything. Those days, I don't complain."

A friend whom he met during the apple picking, invited him to stay at his property near Zaječar, where he now lives in a room of ten square meters. Dragan says that he has never been picky for jobs, and that this is something that he learned from his foster parents.

Dragan and his borther appreciate any kind of help, even job offers. For more information message: https://www.facebook.com/strahinja.andjela.
