These two Schools now have their own reading corners, as a donation from KEDS, over 1000 books collected from volunteer action of the employees of this company.
Pupils of the elementary schools of Morina in Skenderaj and Reznik in Vushtrri have celebrated the International Children’s Day in the best possible way. To their songs and dancing, libraries with reading corners and hundreds of books in their shelves have been added, as a gift from KEDS and the employees of this company, who voluntarily have collected over 1000 books.
The director of KEDS -Zafer Ylmaz said that this project is for the authors and writers of the future, and the future is here. Together with the workers of KEDS the idea was to do something good for them. He said that only one of the workers alone has collected 600 books. “ Please accept this gift from your brothers and sisters – you are the future of Kosovo” – said Ylmaz.
Directors of the two elementary schools expressed their gratitude towards KEDS and its workers for this wonderful gift. They said that these two schools never had their own libraries and thanks to KEDS, pupils of these schools will not need to buy books anymore.
This is not the only activity KEDS and employees have done for schools. One week ago, Kamenica Elementary School "Fan Noli" had been painted, which was in a very serious condition, whereas 7 computer labs in 7 schools throughout Kosovo were previously formed and completed by KEDS.
