Vjera Matulić from Postire, Island of Brač, supported by her family and neighbors, started a Facebook group called Iznajmljivači sa srcem – Landlords With a Heart aiming to inspire landlords from all Croatia to offer their apartments for free. Mrs. Matulić is calling her colleagues that in case they have non vacated apartment help families of children with physical and intellectual disabilities, or foster parents who can’t afford a holiday.

The group grows fast and currently has over 3,500 members that are not only donating their apartments, but also providing free transport to the final destination. The guests are coming from entire Croatia, but also from Bosnia and Serbia, so Landlords With a Heart are calling their colleagues from Montenegro to join the campaign and offer their accommodations.

The summer holiday season just started, so hopefully by its end in late September, thousands of kids will have their dream holiday thanks to the Landlords With a Heart.
