On Wednesday, March 8th, the MedulinArt Association organized the traditional Women’s Day fundraising party at the Medulin Multimedia Center.

The event called Muškarci za Žene (Men for Women) was vastly supported by the local politicians, artists and businessmen, who participated in an auction that collected 16,500 HRK (approx. 2,200 EUR). The entire amount will be donated to the Istra Safe House, which for more than a decade takes care of women victims of domestic violence.

At two locations, Istra Safe House provided shelter for 240 women, with their children, and in 700 occasions ensured adequate forms of psychosocial assistance.
