Xheme and Miradije Parallangaj from Prizren are living in very difficult conditions. They receive 100 EUR of monthly social assistance, which is the only income for this family. However the minimum amount of money they need on a monthly basis, only for their son Ellon who has severe kidney infection, is 300 EUR.

Kosovo media have intensively reported the situation of Xheme and Miradije Parallangaj and their son Ellon three times so far. Some time ago, Ellon underwent a surgical operation with the assistance of some humanitarian organizations in Kosovo. However, Parallangaj Family is having tough time providing their son the therapy he needs to stay alive; therefore, they are calling all people with good will to help them, since any kind of assistance would be very much appreciated for this family.
