Since 2009 the Red Cross Belgrade is organizing summer trips for underprivileged children. With the help of various donors, this year kids from all over Serbia traveled to Baošići, Montenegro.
The Red Cross is organizing a crowdfunding campaign to make this possible. This March, 8,544 households from Belgrade have donated to this cause, and in July, 5,220 more households donated another EUR17,500. A great number of companies supported this cause as well.
More than 2,000 children were part of this program in the past 8 years and for the most of them, it was the first time they traveled to the sea.
