Astra has recently joined the GlobalGiving organization aiming to raise funds for victims of human trafficking.The goal of raising 5,000 USD ( app. 4,440 EUR) was accomplished within 10 days and the project will receive long-term support through GlobalGiving.

The donations helped the victims of human trafficking in Serbia by giving them psychological, legal and medical help they needed. Additionally, they will be provided with safe accommodations, legal representation, clothes and food; they will be supported in going back to school, finding a job and restoring their family and social networks.
