Award for Individual Contribution to Philanthropy was given to Mr. Milomir Glavčić, a 91-year-old retiree from Canada. Even though he hasn't been in Serbia for the past six decades, during that time he donated more than 6,000,000 EUR to institutions and citizens of Serbia. In the past year, Milomir donated 547,000 EUR for purchase of MRI device for Studenica General Hospital, for Health Center in Raska he donated funds for the procurement of modern ambulance vehicle, ECG and defibrillator. He donated money for construction of the bridge over the Ibar River in Kraljevo and for the construction of Center for Culture with kindergarten in Jošanička banja. He sent money to the local school as prizes for the top three students from each class, and each year he sends financial help to the residents of his village. Well done!
